Hippie Bowl

So I've seen this done quite a few different ways, but here's mine.

The Hippie Bowl
The Lick-Your-Lips-Kind-of-Health-Food Bowl

What you'll need:
1 Cup- Rice
1 Handful- Kale
{I also added a handful of Organic Girl's SUPER GREENS}
1/4 Cup chopped Avocado
1/4 Cup chopped Tomato

  • Prepare one cup of rice
  • Place Kale {and/or whatever greens you decide to add} into a medium saute pan with enough water to cover bottom.
  • Cover and steam on medium heat until a vibrant green {about 5 min, depending on the heat of your stove}
  • Lay the greens over the rice.
  • Add avocado and tomatoes
  • Drizzle with Tahini Sauce {Recipe Follows}

Tahini Sauce:
{I made my own, but Trader Joe's also has a pre-made version}
1/4 Cup- Tahini
2/3 Cup- Warm Water
1/2 Tsp- Pressed Garlic
1 Tsp- Grated Ginger
1/2 TBsp- Soy Sauce
To Taste:
Salt
Pepper
Lemon
Parsley
